Aió, a recent addition to Bath's celebrated restaurant community bringing with it an exciting menu which introduces all the fresh flavours of the Mediterranean. The owners Mauro Matta and Salvo Cuomo have combined their 15 years experience in the city’s most popular restaurants to provide a new take on Italian cuisine. They have gone back to their roots to devise a menu that has origins in Sardinia and Naples with a touch of Meditteranean African influence.The dishes have fresh, simple flavours using the highest quality locally sourced ingredients with an emphasis on flame grilled fish and meats. There is a well chosen wine list which complements the menu. Aió is open all day, every day from 10.00 till late for coffee, drinks, aperitifs, tapas, lunch and dinner.
