Country Threads is the headquarters for quilt makers, situtated in a Georgian house throughthe pillared arch off of Pierrepont Street, a short walk south of the Abbey. The shop has grown over the years to include a huge range all the supplies needed to make quilts. There are over 2000 fabrics in stock, along with threads, ribbons, fleece, wadding, and accessories, new lines arrive weekly. Also on sale is a selection of magazines and instruction books including Quilt Mania,

Cloth Paper Scissors and Quilting Arts. The
