Spirit of the Andes is a small British company, which has been working hand in hand for over 17 years with the very best artisan knitters of Peru and Bolivia. The textile skills in this region, combined with the rare natural fibres Alpaca Wool and Pima Cotton found there, date back thousands of years. Ingenuity and innovation have kept these skills alive through the centuries translating into today's finest knitwear. Rare pieces of knitwear are designed and produced each season in 50 new unique colours, real limited editions, many of them with less than 90 examples to sell worldwide. In these days of mass production and cheap 'throw away' products it’s refreshing to find unique high quality clothing, produced in tens rather than thousands.
