Thai by the Weir is the home of Halal rice and noodles. The restaurant, situated
adjacent to the famous Pulteney Bridge, is renowned for both its superb food
and the stunning views from the dining rooms and rear courtyard overlooking the
weir. Perfect to enjoy a tranquil meal on fine days and watch the ebb and flow
of the river. The extensive menu offers an enticing fusion of Chinese,
Indonesian, Malay and Thai dishes, all the specialities are here plus an
enticing selection of starters and desserts along with plenty of vegetarian
choices.There is a special lunch menu offering one course for £5.00 or two for £7.95. The restaurant, over two floors is pleasantly spacious with stripped wood
floors, gilt mirrors, colourful artworks and is decorated in rich deep colours.
