Yak Yeti Yak is acclaimed for authentic Nepalese home cooking and the food here is a revelation. The kitchen conjures up fragrant dishes with distinctive spicing and flavours that are subtle, light and lovely. Everything is freshly prepared (including theground spices) without colouring or
additives, they believe there are no short cuts to producing good food, so they don’t take any. Vegetarian food is a part of everyday life in Nepal so vegetable,
vegan and meat dishes receive equal emphasis. The restaurant is just a two
minute walk from the Abbey and extends over the lower floor of three Georgian
houses, it has four dining areas, a bar and two courtyard gardens. The small dining room has low tables with floor cushions in the traditional Nepalese style. Yak Yeti Yak has consistently featured in the Good Food Guide, with
further recommendations from many publications including The Times and Square Meal from 2006 to 2010. www.yakyetiyak.co.uk
